Headliner Gros Morne National Park, a UNESCO World Heritage Site, offers more than 100 kilometres of hiking trails for leisurely strolls and challenging treks through rock formations thrown up from the earth’s core in a spell of tectonic upheaval. A climb to the top comes complete with panoramic views of the spectacular mountainous landscape and glacier-carved fjords.
Visit the Newfoundland Insectarium a multi-dimensional attraction featuring insects and arthropods from around the world. Eight years in the making, the facility is of world-class caliber.
Salmon Fish on the Mighty Humber River that flows nearby. We are also a great jumping off point for many other Western Newfoundland Rivers including Lomond River, Trout River, Parsons Pond, Portland Creek, and the Torrent River to the North.
